As a result of the Corporate Dinner held in 2013, Don Francis, an Australian businessmen of Sri Lankan origin, agreed to train 2 youths from Hingurukaduwa village at his company in Colombo (Tetran Pty Ltd) in communication skills. This commenced in 2015, and is continuing. One of the youths left in 2015, and was replaced by another youth. Both the current youths are doing well, and one of them is now employed with the company.
