Hospital Beds and Medical Equipment to Sri Lanka
Lak Saviya Foundation accepts with great appreciation, your generous donation towards the shipment of used hospital beds and equipment to Sri Lanka. Please find attached a receipt for your donation. (All donations over A$ 2.00 are tax deductible)
In April 2019, Lak Saviya Foundation Australia shipped a 40 ft container to Sri Lanka with 32 hospital beds and a number of medical equipment in good working condition. These included: four operating theatre lights, two surgical microscopes, three infant incubators, an ECG machine, a dialysis machine, an ultrasound machine, an endoscope reprocessor, a laser machine, several vital signs monitors, and a batch of disability equipment.
This is the 16th such shipment from Lak Saviya Foundation, of hospital beds and medical equipment to be donated to needy public hospitals in Sri Lanka. In the past 12 years, Lak Saviya Foundation has donated over 350 hospital beds and a number of medical equipment, that have been put to good use in public hospitals in various parts of Sri Lanka, from Killinochchi to Colombo.
